How We Use Your Information
Your privacy is very important to us. Personal information we maintain about you is all treated as confidential. All staff and volunteers are required to maintain an individual’s right to privacy and are instructed on this during their orientation process.
Email addresses provided when subscribing to the bi-weekly CSD Deaf Community Newsletter are used to distribute the newsletter. If you otherwise provide us personal information via email or phone, we will use that personal information only for the purpose for which is it was provided. All contact information such as name, address, telephone number, email address and payment processes from donors and clients are kept confidential.
To further protect your privacy, we will use the least amount of information we can to accomplish the task at hand. We will also delete your information when no longer needed for the services we are providing.

We respect your personal information and take steps to protect it from loss, misuse or alteration. This includes technical measures such as firewalls and encryption and also organizational measures like training our staff. Your personal information is maintained in secured networks and only accessible to a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems and who are required to keep the information confidential.
If you do not want to receive emails from HSDC, please unsubscribe by following the instructions in the email or by contacting us. You can edit, update or request deletion of any of your personal information by contacting us.
“Cookies” are small pieces of information that are stored by your web browser on your computer’s hard drive. They permit HSDC run analytics such as site usage. You can change your browser settings to turn off cookies if you so desire. If you turn cookies off, some of the features that make your site experience more efficient may not function properly.
