Elizabeth Whelpdale of Hearing Speech + Deaf Center recently appeared with WCPO 9‘s Lucy May. Elizabeth spoke about the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), which became law on July 26, 1990. Millions of men, women, and children have access to employment, housing, and education because of the ADA. Once, that was unimaginable.
