{"id":4243,"date":"2023-03-22T10:33:26","date_gmt":"2023-03-22T14:33:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hearingspeechdeaf.fm1.dev\/?page_id=4243"},"modified":"2023-03-22T10:33:29","modified_gmt":"2023-03-22T14:33:29","slug":"speech-services","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/hearingspeechdeaf.org\/speech-services\/","title":{"rendered":"Speech Services"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Some common speech disorders we treat at HSDC include but are not limited to:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignright size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/hearingspeechdeaf.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/speech_therapy.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4263\" width=\"318\" height=\"211\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Apraxia:<\/strong> A neurological disorder that affects the brain pathways involved in planning the sequence of movements involved in producing speech.\u202f&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Articulation disorders:<\/strong> Difficulty pronouncing sounds in speech.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Dysarthria:<\/strong> Difficulty in speech due to weakness of speech muscles. This could be either a developmental problem or acquired due to medical conditions.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Fluency disorders:<\/strong> Interruptions in the flow of speech.
