Kasmira Patel
Community Development & Workforce Access Aide
Kasmira Patel is a New York native who moved to Ohio to grow her family and expand her creative career. She holds a Master’s degree in Human–Computer Interaction from the Rochester Institute of Technology, where she developed her passion for accessible design, user experience and digital storytelling.
Kasmira is the founder and owner of Girl and Creativity, a Deaf-owned small business known for its inclusive designs, ASL-focused products and strong community presence. Through this work, she combines marketing, creativity and cultural advocacy to connect with families, educators and the Deaf community across the country.
Before stepping into her current role, Kasmira spent years creating content, supporting small businesses and helping bridge communication between hearing and Deaf audiences through social media and visual design. She believes deeply in representation, access and uplifting diverse voices.
Outside of work, Kasmira enjoys spending time with her husband and their 3-year-old son, who inspires much of her creativity and her commitment to promoting Deaf culture and family-centered communication.
