Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
The Americans with Disabilities Act protects individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing and ensures they have equal access.
Prohibits employers from discriminating against qualified individuals with disabilities and ensures accessible communication in the workplace.
Protects individuals from discrimination based on a disability in receiving services or programs provided by state and local government entities.
Prohibits discrimination based on a disability and requires public facilities (schools, medical centers, restaurants, movie theaters, etc.) to comply with ADA standards.
