Michael Romero, Au.D.

Clinical Audiologist

Dr. Michael Romero was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. He was inspired to help others by both his mom, Yvonne, a speech-language pathologist, and his dad, Juan, an educator.

Michael earned his Doctor of Audiology from the University of Texas at Dallas and completed his clinical externship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. He is a Licensed Audiologist (Ohio). Michael’s career began in Cincinnati at the Hearing Speech + Deaf Center, where he developed a strong foundation in patient-centered hearing care. He enjoys helping individuals reconnect with the sounds that bring meaning and joy to their everyday lives.

Michael enjoys listening to music, playing the drums, and enjoying the outdoors while hiking and camping. A fun fact about Michael is that he used to DJ weddings during his undergraduate and doctoral studies.
